Outdoors and Discovery
Les Murailles – Anse-Saint-Jean – Saguenay
It is here, in Saguenay, that we find a paradise for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. With nearly 100 kilometers to cover, Les Murailles allows its rare visitors to contemplate a still wild nature there as well as the high rock walls of the Emmuraillé lake. Having no marked trails, we discover Les Murailles in our own way. With several refuges and different accesses, we can create our own route according to the time we have.
The Coop Quatre Temps website, which manages it, contains all the information you need to plan a visit. It suggests hikes ranging from one to five days. Overnight stays in huts or heated prospector tents cost $25 per night, per person.
